Renovation project for the office areas of the Sisal production site.

The project involved the redevelopment of the office spaces and staff areas within Sisal's production facility, with the goal of creating a more functional and welcoming work environment, in line with the company's evolving organization.

The existing layout featured an outdated layout, consisting of a sequence of enclosed offices arranged along a long corridor, with a rigid configuration that limited collaboration between teams and no longer reflected modern working methods. Even the materials and finishes, typical of an industrial setting, did not guarantee adequate levels of comfort, acoustic quality, and well-being in the environments.

The project, carried out in collaboration with Sisal, was developed according to STUDIO BIA-@RCH's integrated approach, which views the workplace as an ecosystem in which architecture, interior design, environmental and acoustic comfort, and sustainability combine to create a space tailored to the client. Each project stems from an in-depth analysis of the company's needs and translates into a tailor-made solution that supports its organization and identity.

The new spatial distribution has created a flexible layout , promoting collaboration, concentration, and employee well-being through differentiated environments based on the tasks performed. Sound-absorbing materials, dedicated acoustic comfort solutions, thoughtful lighting, and warm-toned finishes contribute to a welcoming and high-performance work environment.

The building is spread over two levels. On the ground floor, in addition to the over 3,500 square meter production area, there is also the reception, several operational offices, and areas dedicated to staff break and socialization. The first floor houses a large open space, management offices, and a large meeting room, while the relaxation area connecting the two levels becomes a place for informal gatherings and connections.

The result is a contemporary work environment that improves the quality of spaces, fosters relationships between employees, and supports daily activities through a design that is attentive to well-being, functionality, and sustainability.
