Workspace Optimization and Interior Design Project
Intervention area 6,000 m2 - 500 stations - Milan 2016
The project involves reorganizing the entire nine-story building to accommodate approximately 100 people transferring from another location while simultaneously optimizing the layout of the existing spaces. The project therefore aims to adapt the layout of the spaces to a new corporate configuration, improving the functionality of the spaces and making them more responsive to changes.
The reorganization affected the building's various levels, reorganizing the layout and introducing new functions dedicated to collaboration and gathering. The goal was to move beyond a configuration geared exclusively toward individual work, complementing the operational areas with spaces capable of supporting discussion and informal meetings.
New collaboration and gathering spaces have been introduced, such as informal meeting areas, phone booths, and corridor-side copy areas and spaces. Their location along the corridors makes them easily accessible from every part of the office.
The result is a comprehensive reorganization of the building. The introduction of differentiated spaces for collaboration, gathering, and support activities helps make the nine floors more functional, dynamic, and responsive to the diverse needs of contemporary work.
